i havent been in the mood to produce lately. juss been wanting to feed off others art. things are getting harder to explain. im trying to find myself, but i forgot to tell myself where to look if i get lost. im outgrowing my shell again. afraid to see what ill look like on the other side. i dont like what i used to love. i dont know if i changed or are things around me changing. i want a mirror that talks back to me when i question what it sees. i want a conscience instead of voices in my head. i wish someone knew who i was and not who they think i am.

Dont Send a Mind ta do a Heart's Job

I recently heard (or read i 4got) someone say "Don't send a mind ta do a heart's job and this got me thinking. We are taught since we are born to use common sense, think about what you do before you do it. So why would love be any different? To me that's y people get caught up, cuz they use their heart instead of their brain. The heart says "but I love him/her" when the brain says "he/she don't love u, u idiot, that's y he/she keeps f'n up, stop waisting ur time". Y do people use common sense in everything except love? It aint that complicated. that's how I feel @ least.

wowzers. wat a crazy good movie. i really had no expectations on the movie, i figured it be more of a retrospect of his career. naw, ni66a. uh uh. this flick actually digs deeper (cosby show reference.....who caught that?). hearing and watching mike talk about his highs and lows and wat went into making this man was enthralling(sp?). The brutal honesty and seeing Tyson almost come to tears at some points just reminds me wat a crazy cold world this planet earth is. If you are any type of Tyson, boxing, or sports fan, or if u are into psychology, go peep this flick.

I Dont Believe in Minority Marriage

Ok - a friend of mine on myspace posted a bulletin about the Miss California/Gay Marriage debate. The first part is her responding back to my comments questioning if she was serious (she posted a video of bill o reily saying she shouldnt have lost because of her beliefs:

To answer your question that you posted on my bulletin, No, I am not joking, and yes, I am serious. I don't believe in gay marriage. I voted Yes on Prop 8. I did grow up attending church every Sunday with my family, but I also made the choice to continue going to church and read the word as an adult. I will never agree with gay marriage, or gay anything. Interacial marriage has nothing to do with gays having rights. I don't know how many people I've met, who spent most their lives living a heterosexual lifestyle, and then CHOSE to be gay or bisexual. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (of course)so that's how I feel, and it will never change.

Now here is my response:

ok 1st thing i dont wanna make it seem like im attacking or anything - im naturally sarcastic and i know reading isnt the same as hearing so because you cant hear how i would say this to u im lettin u kno this isnt an angry reply lol - i juss love ta debate stuff
aite now - i dont understand wat u mean by "believe in gay marriage" - wat is there to believe in? its not a fictional person like santa clause - if 2 lesbians get married then they are a gay married couple - are they not a couple if u dont believe it? in my mind that is propaganda that makes it easier to strip peoples rights because you dont agree with their lifestyle. and thats y i bring up interracial marriage, because in my mind its the exact same thing. it was illegal for blacks to marry who they wanted. why? because people didnt agree with their lifestyle. blacks were less than humans and they had to protect the white woman from us niggers. now they must protect marriage from the fags(not my word - using it for emphasis) how is it any different?
and wat does choosing to be gay have to do with their rights? if a black man chose a white wife - he couldnt get married because the law said it was illegal. again i ask, how is this different? and how do u know they chose to be gay? because they came out in later years when they felt they were strong enough to deal with the discrimination and hate that comes from being gay?
being a black woman u have two frames of references (sp?) on discrimination and bigotryimagine if the question was "vermont just legalized black marriage, yet california still doesnt allow coloreds to marry. wat is your viewpoint on minority marriage?"and the answer was"in my country, where i was raised, a marriage is between a white man and a white woman and im sorry if i offended anyone"i would b on my blog calling her everything but a child of God
ok last point cuz i gotta bouncei think that hilton guy is right about her losing because of her answer, but not because i disagree with her answer. when she said we all have a right to choose who we marry (or however she said it) she was wrong. California, the state she was representing, does not give us all the right to marry who we want because prop 8 passed. to me that shows her ignorance on the topic and thats y her answer lost her the competition.

ok yea, that was my reply. y am i posting this? idk really. i juss wish i could crawl into peoples heads sometimes and figure out wat the F is wrong with them. honestly, any black person, or minority in general, that voted yes on prop 8 loses respect from me. but, "Everyone is entitled to their opinion (of course)so that's how I feel, and it will never change"
